I work in the financial sector of Mauritius, my specialty is compliance and anti-money laundering and countering the finance of terrorism. I am a BSC degree holder, MBA holder and a certified financial crime compliance professional.
With the very unfortunate MV Wakashio oil spill that happened last year in our seas, I volunteered to extract oil from the lagoon, make booms out of sugar cane leaves and donated hair including mine, which absorbs oil.

I also participated in fund raisings during COVID19 for elderly – April 2020.

I actively participated in several fund raisings for a NGO for disabled children, for their education and care (RFT) –
2015 - 2017. This included silent bidding, collecting money at supermarkets and malls and on the streets.
