Biography
A dreamer, spiritual adherent, freelance writer,a dedicated social worker and art passionate (tattooing). Anjinsen is professional with a Masters in Communication and Public Relations and has over 10 years of working experience in various fields namely: - insurance, public affairs, social work, promotion of rights of children and administration in the tertiary education setting. Presently, he is working as Management Support Officer at the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations, Employment and Training. Aside from his work, Anjinsen is a YALI South Africa Alumni, an AfricanChange Makers Fellow, Past secretary and Director of Club Administration and Alumni of the Rotaract Club of Quatre-Bornes (Mauritius) and 2019 Local Vice President of Junior Chambers International of Quatre Bornes.

As Socrates rightly said- “The secret of change is to focus all your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”
In 2018, I came up with the inauguration of the first medicinal garden on a university campus where 12 medicinal plants were put into ground. I came up with this idea to show the importance of medicinal plants to be used as a natural cure as it is a legacy left by our great parents which the younger generations are not aware of its importance and effectiveness. Through its initiative, I wanted to encourage each and every one to have a medicinal garden at their place. As Jacques Yves Cousteau rightly said: - “Water and air, the two essential fluids on which all life depends, have become global garbage cans.”
Being from a modest background, Anjinsen has struggled a lot during his secondary and tertiary studentship. Knowing the importance of education, Anjinsen has traced his academic path successfully by completing his master degree in 2017. Anjinsen is currently working as an Management Support Officer in the public sector. Anjinsen has been awarded for Invaluable Support in 2017 by the Local President of JCI Quatre Bornes as per his commitment and dedication at the community level.
